All identifiers stay text. Panel + port must be unique within each panel. Changes update every view.
The sheet stays at 1:1. A different paper size never stretches a manufacturer die.
White zone 12.7 mm · Clear tail 25.4 mm
Grid 7 × 7 = 49 cells
Positive X moves right; positive Y moves down. File translation: pt.
Ink stays inside the white zone or flag wings. Clear laminate and the center fold stay empty.
Multiple panels occupy consecutive positions downward, using the selected 1U or 2U height for each. Confirm these positions against the physical rack.
Project custom scheme · No standards certification
Unlimited basic exports, including A/B pairs, copies and partial-sheet continuation.
Up to 20,000 rendered labels per job, including copies and A/B pairs. This memory limit is the same for free and paid files.
Command preview shows the first 4,000 characters. The download contains the complete job.
No autosave, cloud copy or browser storage. Explicitly download and reopen your version 1 file.
Sheet layouts and die-cut dimensions are calibrated for 1:1 actual-size printing (100% scale, no page scaling). Always print a single plain-paper alignment sheet first and hold it against your label stock before printing on adhesive sheets.
Geometry checks do not certify your printer or material. Scan a test barcode before batch use.
All three packages with any pass. $7.99 / 7 days · $6.99 / month · $29 lifetime. Basic files above remain free.

Original files stay in your browser. Server packages currently accept only our public fictional examples, including the default generated sequence and downloadable samples. You can adjust their physical layout. Use the demo company button for Example Cabling Co. / Demo Office Fit-Out / MDF-R01 / 2026-10-24. Sending custom label or project text is paused pending data-handling approval; free local exports remain available.

A self laminating cable label template has two different physical jobs: a printable white zone carries the identifier, and a transparent tail protects it after wrapping. This workbench keeps those areas separate in previews and exported files. Start with a measured jacket diameter, select a die with known geometry and compare repeated text against the available white area. The example diameters are assumptions for demonstration, not universal Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A or XLR specifications.
For a circular jacket, circumference C = πd. Total wrap turns equal label height divided by C; clear-tail turns equal transparent tail height divided by C. With d = 6.0 mm, C = 18.8496 mm. The generic 49-up label is 38.1 mm high, giving about 2.02 total turns, while its 25.4 mm tail provides about 1.35 clear turns. At 8.0 mm, C = 25.1327 mm and the same tail supplies about 1.01 turns. At 20.0 mm it supplies only 0.40 turns, an explicit insufficient-coverage warning. These are geometric ratios. Jacket texture, adhesive overlap, temperature and how a person applies a label can change physical results, so the diagram is not a material performance guarantee.
The 49-up print area is 25.4 × 12.7 mm; the lower 25.4 mm remains clear. The cyan boundary is a screen aid, not ink added to the finished sticker. Final SVG and PDF output place text and barcode rectangles only inside the white area. A calibration sheet may show die outlines because it is meant for plain paper. Two, three or four repeat rows refer to the Cable ID; full endpoints are fitted as their own additional lines. More repeats can improve the chance of seeing an identifier from another side, but they consume vertical space. If a long destination and Code128 are added to a 12.7 mm-high zone, check the type warning instead of assuming every combination is readable.
The generic 49-up grid uses 7 columns and 7 rows, a 19.05 mm left margin and a 6.35 mm top margin on Letter. It is not advertised as LSL-77. The MR610 manufacturer table specifies 8 columns by 4 rows, 25.4 × 57.2 mm cells, a 19.1 mm white section and a 38.1 mm wrapping tab. Its left and right margins are 6.35 mm, top and bottom 10.3 mm, with a 10 mm vertical gap. Rotating a single label does not convert that die into a 4 × 8 layout. The generic 156-up entry uses smaller 12.7 × 19.05 mm cells and does not assert LSL-70 compatibility. The unresolved 36-up entry would be 342.9 mm high, and Avery 61541 requires irregular P-Style coordinates that are not supplied here. Those entries remain blocked.
Rotate the cable diagram from 0 through 359 degrees to inspect the same selected record. The Cable ID and endpoints remain tied to the sheet; the angle changes the deterministic cross-section rather than generating a room rendering. A long clear arc can wrap more than once, which is why numeric turns are shown beside the picture. Compare Cat5e at an assumed 4.8 mm, Cat6 at 6.0 mm and a thick Cat6A example at 8.0 mm. Those labels describe example media only. Measure the actual cable jacket with a caliper and select stock suitable for that diameter according to the material supplier. If a thin fiber needs a readable tab, the 30 × 20 mm flag layout may be a more suitable shape.
Keep millimeters as the physical source of truth even when displaying inches. Letter is 612 × 792 points, while A4 is 595.28 × 841.89 points to two decimals. The offset controls move all ink by the same amount: +1.5 mm in X equals +4.25 points to the right, and −1.0 mm in Y equals −2.83 points upward in the screen coordinate system. Sliders and number inputs share 0.1 mm increments across −5.0 to +5.0 mm. If an offset pushes the selected die outside the paper or footer dead space, exporting is blocked. Do not compensate for scaling drift with progressively larger offsets; correct the paper selection, print driver and grid pitch first.
Three cable rows with one copy and A/B pairs produce six labels, alternating A then B for each cable. Rotating B by 180 degrees acts inside that end’s white zone, so the clear tail does not become a print surface. Skip five cells to start at cell 6 on only the first sheet. A complete installer production package adds a checklist of page, cell, rotation and white-zone bounds matched to its PDF, per-page SVGs and endpoint map. All ordinary local files, including barcodes, free multi-page PDFs, generic ZPL and partial-sheet continuation, remain free. A file geometry check proves coordinates; an independent scan and a physical plain-paper alignment test are still needed for the actual printer and material.

For an office Cat6 run, the generic 49-up example makes the white/clear division easy to inspect. A thick Cat6A demonstration uses the larger MR610 white zone. Thin XLR examples illustrate why a media name alone cannot establish jacket diameter. Consult the Excel workbench for bulk schedules, the panel workbench for socket identifiers and the flag guide for fiber tabs.

No. It means 25.4 mm of clear tail divided by an 18.85 mm circumference. Actual adhesion, overlap, jacket shape and installation technique must be checked with the chosen stock.
The transparent tail is intentionally free of text, bars, backgrounds and printed guides. Die and laminate boundaries appear on screen or on the separate calibration PDF only.
No. The 2, 3 or 4 setting counts repeated Cable ID lines. Source and destination are separate fitted lines so an endpoint edit remains visible without replacing the cable identifier.
The manufacturer geometry is Letter. Selecting A4 does not stretch or rearrange it; choose a measured Custom layout if you have a different physical die and validate that layout independently.
Yes. Both are free. Code128 uses printable ASCII data, while QR can carry a broader text payload. Keep quiet zones clear and scan the real printed sample before batching.
It rotates that label’s printable group by 180 degrees within its white zone. The paired route still reads destination ← source, and the transparent tail remains unprinted.
